Deep Space

I think you were droning on about the fate of the earth, or something. I’m sorry, I was just looking at the endless depth of galaxies from the Hubble Telescope.

The Hubble Ultra Deep Field is an image of a small area of space in the constellation Fornax, created using Hubble Space Telescope data from 2003 and 2004. By collecting faint light over many hours of observation, it revealed thousands of galaxies, both nearby and very distant, making it the deepest image of the universe ever taken at that time.

I’m sorry, what was that you were taking about? I was just contemplating the number of star systems in the infinite majesty of Creation. At a hundred billion stars per galaxy, how many stars do you think you are looking at? This universe is built on several principles, but energy conservation is apparently not one of them.
