The stats prove it: hipsters are annoying

The Priceonomics blog, authored by self-identified hipsters, crunches the numbers behind one of the most irksome qualities of hipsters: their haughty attachment to utterly obscure bands. For example,the graph below uses data from the Pitchfork website, described as “probably the most important hipster taste-maker”, and the number of Facebook likes for a Pitchfork review of a band.
